Carol is a novelist, podcaster and travel blogger who lives on Bowen Island near Vancouver, Canada, when she’s not traveling. She’s been visiting and loving France for decades, often with her husband, artist Gregg Simpson. Carol is the author of five novels including The Towers of Tuscany (Lake Union Publishing 2014) and her newest release, The Choir (HTF Publishing 2026). Her Artsy Traveler travel blog is dedicated to independent travelers who love the arts. Before retiring to write novels and her travel blog full time, Carol was an instructor at Capilano University in North Vancouver, Canada, and the author of sixty-plus textbooks in computers and business communications for Cengage Learning. She holds a Master of Arts in Drama and a Master of Business Administration.
